The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Peng Qi Chong scored 1-0 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ladislav Sovák, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Nick Mason fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DAMIAN TEAM's protests and gave Nick Mason a yellow card for diving instead. With an all-out effort, DAMIAN TEAM's Ladislav Sovák threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Peng Qi Chong, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Ladislav Sovák successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 25th minute Peng Qi Chong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ladislav Sovák saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 28 minutes Haedo Lokomotiv's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nick Mason who took care of the corner kick. DAMIAN TEAM's Nick Mason was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ladislav Sovák in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience was convinced that Israel Mosen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ladislav Sovák was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Israel Mosen put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ladislav Sovák. When Peng Qi Chong came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the DAMIAN TEAM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peng Qi Chong couldn't finish the play. Faustino Lawrence hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Jacobo Urdin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisito Ignado in the 44th minute of the match. Nick Mason received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Ladislav Sovák tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Luisito Ignado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luisito Ignado made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Ernesto Illart fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jacobo Urdin, passed just outside the right post. When Eusebio Rios came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Haedo Lokomotiv fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eusebio Rios couldn't finish the play. DAMIAN TEAM made a substitution. Stanislav Muhov replaced Miguel Lizer. DAMIAN TEAM's Omar Osasun was substituted for Ciro Osasun. In the 66th minute, Ermegildo Itzaina ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ladislav Sovák was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Ernesto Illart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Urdin having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ermegildo Itzaina in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ladislav Sovák saved Haedo Lokomotiv from getting behind. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Haedo Lokomotiv's goalkeeper Ladislav Sovák, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 82 minutes, Ermegildo Itzaina made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Haedo Lokomotiv's Ladislav Sovák tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 85th minute, Ermegildo Itzaina left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DAMIAN TEAM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. In the 89th minute Ermegildo Itzaina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ladislav Sovák saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute DAMIAN TEAM were awarded a corner. Nick Mason went to the cornerflag to take it. Ermegildo Itzaina scored 7-0 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ladislav Sovák, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the DAMIAN TEAM players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
