Csaba Bihari was slow to take the kick. During this time Xeneizes's players had a chance to rest. Xeneizes's Lucas Iigo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Johnny Gobillot in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 22 played minutes Xeneizes got a freekick which was hit by Everardo Bidun. Johnny Gobillot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucas Iigo in the 24th minute. 24 minutes into the game, Austin Estruch was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Gallo de Moron's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Xeneizes the free kick. In the 24th match minute, El Gallo de Moron was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Austin Estruch to maneuver through the defense. Johnny Gobillot came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Xeneizes's Lucas Iigo. But to his dismay, Lucas Iigo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. The supporters of El Gallo de Moron booed when Xeneizes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Tiso didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marian Radziszewski to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Fulgencio Peru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johnny Gobillot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Johnny Gobillot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fulgencio Peru, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. El Gallo de Moron's Nikolas Ferreira was substituted for Pedro Augusto De Assis Moreira. Xeneizes's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Csaba Bihari in the 74th minute. With an all-out effort, El Gallo de Moron's Marcelo Gagriel threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marian Radziszewski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Xeneizes had played much better football throughout.
