After 12 minutes of play, Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Todd Gronow made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nemesio Tanio was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Ildefonso Foro came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ildefonso Foro couldn't finish the play. Abelardo Janpier made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Isidro Nuno sent off a good shot on target. Nemesio Tanio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Todd Gronow, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's goalkeeper Abelardo Janpier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 31st minute Pasion Tatengue were awarded a corner. Geronimo Giraldo went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Pasion Tatengue's corner Geronimo Giraldo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Abelardo Janpier quite easily take care of the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Pasion Tatengue's Isidro Nuno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abelardo Janpier narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pasion Tatengue were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Geronimo Giraldo took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Dariusz Lizewski heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Pasion Tatengue's Nemesio Tanio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Todd Gronow in the 42nd minute of play. When Todd Gronow came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Todd Gronow couldn't finish the play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isidro Nuno made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Todd Gronow in the 54th minute of play forced Pasion Tatengue's goalkeeper Nemesio Tanio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pasion Tatengue's Tạ 黄忠 was substituted for Isidro Nuno. Dariusz Lizewski hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. If Todd Gronow had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Todd Gronow's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nemesio Tanio firmly grabbed it by the left post. 69 minutes into the match, Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Todd Gronow sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nemesio Tanio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Pasion Tatengue booed when Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Justin didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
