The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 11 minutes into the match, LA LUZ F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Abel Mazza came free, but Sergio Rochet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingo Clis in the 14th minute of play forced Spams's goalkeeper Andoni Zubizarreta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abel Mazza scored 1-0 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sergio Rochet, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of LA LUZ F.C. booed when Spams was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiago Gabriel Hajs didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Domingo Clis in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andoni Zubizarreta saved Spams from getting behind. Ernesto Chinto hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Abel Mazza in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sergio Rochet, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Sergio Rochet was a little too slow when Ernesto Chinto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 2-0. Ernesto Chinto took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sergio Rochet. Sergio Rochet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. A collision led to Spams getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Alfredo Mino hit a great ball. Tiago Gabriel Hajs hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Domingo Clis in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andoni Zubizarreta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Victor Pietro hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Andoni Zubizarreta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingo Clis, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. 47 minutes into the match, LA LUZ F.C.'s Domingo Clis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andoni Zubizarreta narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

LA LUZ F.C. made a substitution. Jailson Britto replaced Sermet Erva. Spams's Jiang Li Kang was substituted for Ernesto Chinto. Spams's Andrés Vombergar was substituted for Abel Mazza. The wind increased when Andrés Vombergar made the kick off in the second half. 3-1 became the score in the 54th minute when Dieguito Maradona elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Victor Pietro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Spams's goal looked a bit too open when Jailson Britto came free, but Andoni Zubizarreta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andoni Zubizarreta made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Dieguito Maradona sent off a good shot on target. Sergio Rochet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jiang Li Kang in the 65th minute of play. Jiang Li Kang struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Sergio Rochet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Spams. LA LUZ F.C.'s Sergio Rochet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jiang Li Kang in the 68th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Jailson Britto took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Andoni Zubizarreta to make any attempt to save it. Through an outstanding action, after 73 minutes, Andoni Zubizarreta successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 75th match minute, LA LUZ F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Loukas Botinos to maneuver through the defense. When Spams's Jiang Li Kang in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye LA LUZ F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Sergio Rochet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jiang Li Kang, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 88th minute Jailson Britto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andoni Zubizarreta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Spams booed when LA LUZ F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nestoras Kabourakos didn't get a good kick on the ball.
