With an all-out effort, Blitzkrieg's Wieslaw Panasewicz threw himself towards the right post 14 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Prudencio Bilbo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Through an outstanding action, after 15 minutes, Wieslaw Panasewicz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 16th minute of the match, Gualterio Faron tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Wieslaw Panasewicz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Abdel Karim Santirso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emiliano Benitez having to make a save. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Wieslaw Panasewicz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 23rd minute Reynaldo Montrelle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Benitez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Gimnasia y tiro's goalkeeper Wieslaw Panasewicz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Prudencio Bilbo. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gualterio Faron in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wieslaw Panasewicz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Salvador Navarro came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Blitzkrieg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Salvador Navarro couldn't finish the play. Blitzkrieg's Emiliano Benitez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdel Karim Santirso in the 39th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Gimnasia y tiro's Basilio Guillem got a free kick in the 41st minute. If Prudencio Bilbo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Prudencio Bilbo in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wieslaw Panasewicz saved Gimnasia y tiro from getting behind. After 46 minutes of play, Gimnasia y tiro's Abdel Karim Santirso made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emiliano Benitez was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Gimnasia y tiro were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Wieslaw Panasewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prudencio Bilbo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Montrelle in the 56th minute of play forced Blitzkrieg's goalkeeper Emiliano Benitez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute, Gualterio Faron made a precise shot to the right of Wieslaw Panasewicz. Gimnasia y tiro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Eloy Javiero got a throw-in 61 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Serafin Janpier. Prudencio Bilbo struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Wieslaw Panasewicz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Blitzkrieg. Gimnasia y tiro's Raimundo Romano was substituted for Reynaldo Montrelle. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gualterio Faron in the 70th minute of play forced Gimnasia y tiro's goalkeeper Wieslaw Panasewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Gualterio Faron's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wieslaw Panasewicz was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Esben Nordborg went to the cornerflag to take it. 93 minutes into the match, Blitzkrieg's goal looked a bit too open when Abdel Karim Santirso came free, but Emiliano Benitez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Blitzkrieg's Emiliano Benitez got control of the ball when Abdel Karim Santirso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
