The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 12th minute Hermengildo Ursino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Tono saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Vaqueteros FC's Tosun Paşa in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Vaqueteros FC's Javier Tono proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Vaqueteros FC from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tosun Paşa in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cosme Francesco saved MDQ Raptors FC from getting behind. In the 22nd minute, MDQ Raptors FC's Teofilo Adrio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Javier Tono. Javier Tono yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Vaqueteros FC's attentive Bartolo Argina managed to snatch the ball when Ernesto Elodio made a throw-in in the 26th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teofilo Adrio got free with Javier Tono in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Tosun Paşa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cosme Francesco was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Hortêncio Godoi hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tosun Paşa in the 38th minute of play forced MDQ Raptors FC's goalkeeper Cosme Francesco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Vaqueteros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hermengildo Ursino came free, but Javier Tono reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ernesto Elodio kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Javier Tono made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Teofilo Adrio sent off a good shot on target. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Tosun Paşa made the kick off in the second half. Vaqueteros FC were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after MDQ Raptors FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Venancio Victoro took the corner. Javier Tono stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Järvenperä's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. In the 63rd minute, Teofilo Adrio made a precise shot to the right of Javier Tono. Vaqueteros FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 71st minute, Tosun Paşa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vaqueteros FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Vaqueteros FC made a substitution. Fikret Uluğ replaced Tosun Paşa. If Angelo Haitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the match, Daniel Järvenperä notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Vaqueteros FC's Javier Tono. Javier Tono was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 81 minutes into the match, Vaqueteros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hermengildo Ursino came free, but Javier Tono reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tiburcio Harriet charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tiburcio Harriet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cosme Francesco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nereo Florian in the 86th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 91 minutes, Cosme Francesco successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Javier Tono made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Järvenperä in the 94th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Vaqueteros FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for MDQ Raptors FC.
