Spectators: 8035 (Terracing: 6027, Seating: 1848, VIP seats: 160) Chineze De Gea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Romulo Casado went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 8 minutes into the match, CSD Pte Derqui's goal looked a bit too open when Traian Mugur came free, but Chineze De Gea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind CSD Pte Derqui's goalkeeper Chineze De Gea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A throw-in in the 21st minute of the game was made by Benjamin Tadzio with Zacarias Lidon as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The audience was convinced that Romulo Casado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Chineze De Gea was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. 30 minutes into the match, River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Zacarias Lidon came free, but Genaro Quiroga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, River Plate's Eleuterio Efraim got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 37th minute of the match River Plate got a corner. CSD Pte Derqui's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eleuterio Efraim ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to River Plate's Remigio Cugat getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Zacarias Lidon charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zacarias Lidon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Zacarias Lidon made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, River Plate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauricio Tiniebra to maneuver through the defense. Roque Martxel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Traian Mugur came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the River Plate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Traian Mugur couldn't finish the play. Benjamin Tadzio made in the 63rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Zacarias Lidon. Romulo Casado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Chineze De Gea having to make a save. Chineze De Gea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romulo Casado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romulo Casado took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chineze De Gea. Chineze De Gea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. CSD Pte Derqui's Michal Dziatkowicz was substituted for Ovidio Argider. River Plate made a substitution. Godfredo Rioja replaced Eleuterio Efraim. River Plate's Nemesio Azeari was substituted for Erik Albuquerque. CSD Pte Derqui made a substitution. Gonzalo Rius replaced Benjamin Tadzio. River Plate's Romulo Casado got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 88th minute, Romulo Casado made a precise shot to the right of Chineze De Gea. CSD Pte Derqui's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 91st minute, one of River Plate:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for River Plate. The excitement rose when CSD Pte Derqui's Angelo Demesio after 92 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for River Plate's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 3-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michal Dziatkowicz got free with Genaro Quiroga in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. River Plate walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
