When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Cyprian Sroki put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Dalmacio Pello. The supporters of Alijilán returns booed when Tello AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lázaro Garcia didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jorge Orkatz made a kick off. In the 50th match minute, Alijilán returns was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Dalmai to maneuver through the defense. 52 minutes had been played when some careless play by Alijilán returns's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Abel Lain was slow to take the kick. During this time Tello AFC's players had a chance to rest. If Mario Rodriguez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jose Cordarell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jorge Orkatz's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Result 1-1. 64 minutes into the match. Dalmacio Pello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cyprian Sroki, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Jose Cordarell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Orkatz in the 70th minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Cyprian Sroki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dalmacio Pello was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Pastor Nofre came free with the goalkeeper in the 86th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jose Cordarell could save by the left post. A nice corner shot did that Abel Lain got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jose Cordarell quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
