After taking down the ball on Santa Lucia de Merlo's corner Alvaro Llorienzo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Justo Ruy quite easily take care of the ball. Benjamin Lehoi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Justo Ruy made a huge save. After having played for 11 minutes, Benjamin Lehoi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santa Lucia de Merlo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamin Lehoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 27th minute Jonatan Palban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florentino Herauso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roberto Eusko made in the 30th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Santa Lucia de Merlo's Arnaldo Chano. Justo Ruy made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Polo Quinteros sent off a good shot on target. 42 minutes into the match, NUMBA's goalkeeper Justo Ruy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Polo Quinteros. After a rather tough play, NUMBA's Arnaldo Santxol got a free kick in the 44th minute. Justo Ruy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Polo Quinteros, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. NUMBA were awarded a corner in the 50th minute after Santa Lucia de Merlo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bernardino Orlin took the corner. The corner ended in Eusebio Caradaro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Santa Lucia de Merlo's Florentino Herauso did a great save. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabio Sadurni in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florentino Herauso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Santa Lucia de Merlo's Florentino Herauso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Santa Lucia de Merlo from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Santa Lucia de Merlo's Florentino Herauso got control of the ball when Fabio Sadurni tried to sneak it across the goal line. 60 minutes into the game, Santa Lucia de Merlo's M. Agus Young nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Justo Ruy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. After some careless play in the NUMBA defense, M. Agus Young kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Justo Ruy. The NUMBA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Justo Ruy should have stopped the shot. Jonatan Palban in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Florentino Herauso, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. NUMBA's Jonatan Palban was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 77th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind NUMBA's goalkeeper Justo Ruy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Agus Young ran back to his position shaking his head. Justo Ruy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from M. Agus Young in the 91st minute of the match. M. Agus Young struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Justo Ruy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santa Lucia de Merlo. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Santa Lucia de Merlo were victorious despite being under pressure from NUMBA for much of the match.
