In the 21st match minute, Cityzens Mdz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonzalo Nesto to maneuver through the defense. Martin Leheren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Higinio Cesaro in the 23rd minute of play. Pekin Karluk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miran Moco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Denis Charro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Leheren having to interfere. Pekin Karluk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Attilio Casciano, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sixto Larra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Cityzens Mdz booed when Deportivo Luz y Fuerza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fedele Mussi didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Miran Moco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Charro in the 56th minute of play forced Deportivo Luz y Fuerza's goalkeeper Martin Leheren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miran Moco's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Pekin Karluk firmly grabbed it by the left post. Miran Moco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 67th minute, Denis Charro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 79th minute, Inocencio Sotil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henning Sander hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Pekin Karluk came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Luz y Fuerza's Miran Moco. But to his dismay, Miran Moco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Pekin Karluk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Attilio Casciano in the 95th minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Cityzens Mdz's goal looked a bit too open when Attilio Casciano came free, but Pekin Karluk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Deportivo Luz y Fuerza eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
