Javier Fridman scored 2-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elpidio Amor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ilie Hurmuz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the Inter Miami CF defense, Arquímedes Cesario kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rigoberto Horado. The Inter Miami CF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rigoberto Horado should have stopped the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Inter Miami CF players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Timo!.
