Christian Kiliz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Abel Matro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Shi Qian Peng's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shi Qian Peng in the 42nd minute of play forced Plumerillo's goalkeeper Abel Matro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Justino Corderun charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Justino Corderun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Altos Gatos FC's Justino Corderun got a free kick in the 46th minute. After some careless play in the Altos Gatos FC defense, Jacobo Gonzo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christian Kiliz. The Altos Gatos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christian Kiliz should have stopped the shot.

Plumerillo's Abel Matro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shi Qian Peng in the 53rd minute of play. In the 61st minute Bahadırhan Yılğıralp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Kiliz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Shi Qian Peng recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 93rd minute Javier Santo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Matro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute, Yasin Uçur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ignacio Fernández came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Plumerillo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ignacio Fernández couldn't finish the play. After 96 played minutes Plumerillo got a freekick which was hit by Eugeniusz Koczara. In the 97th minute, Shi Qian Peng got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match was over Altos Gatos FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Plumerillo throughout the match.
