After 17 minutes of play, Ñacuñán AC's Benicio Otoniel made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcial Orlandus was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Pierres in the 20th minute of play forced Ñacuñán AC's goalkeeper Raul Lipp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raul Lipp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Pierres in the 20th minute of the match. Danilo Sanchez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guanacos's Danilo Sanchez got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 32nd minute Elpidio Ekain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Orlandus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ñacuñán AC's Raul Lipp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Pierres in the 34th minute of play. After having played for 36 minutes, Elpidio Ekain managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ñacuñán AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elpidio Ekain was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 39thth minute of the game Benicio Otoniel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guanacos's Marcial Orlandus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Ñacuñán AC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Delmiro Oinaz hit a great ball. Marcial Orlandus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosme Lauaxeta, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After some careless play in the Guanacos defense, Cosme Lauaxeta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcial Orlandus. The Guanacos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcial Orlandus should have stopped the shot. Raul Lipp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Mendebal in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paulo Pierres was the one to do the kick off. Raul Lipp made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcelo Mendebal in the 53rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Angelino Clemencin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guanacos's supporters rose to their feet, but Angelino Clemencin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raul Lipp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ñacuñán AC's Eduardo Clodio was substituted for Benicio Otoniel.
