Spectators: 8008 (Terracing: 6008, Seating: 1841, VIP seats: 159) Inter Miami CF's Eriberto Miranda started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Eriberto Miranda came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the Inter Miami CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eriberto Miranda couldn't finish the play. Fernando Llorian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tonico Tinoco, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Eriberto Miranda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernando Llorian read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Eriberto Miranda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Fernando Llorian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 22 minutes La Primera Barra 1968's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Erasmo Lekubegi who took care of the corner kick. Santxo Guazo made in the 23rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Cristian Abecia however managed to control. If Eriberto Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute Tonico Tinoco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Llorian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Israel Cloyos short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Rigoberto Horado to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of La Primera Barra 1968 booed when Inter Miami CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars Ek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucas Vittorio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Inter Miami CF's Erasmo Lekubegi managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Santxo Guazo in the 40 minute of the game. A collision led to Inter Miami CF getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Inocencio Orti hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Inter Miami CF's Eriberto Miranda got a free kick in the 45th minute. Tonico Tinoco hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

The wind increased when Israel Cloyo made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Israel Cloyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Horado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A well-hit corner resulted in Ramon Wanchope heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Inter Miami CF's Eli Nutil was substituted for Erasmo Lekubegi. Inter Miami CF's Eli Nutil quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Santxo Guazo, made in the 58th minute of the game. Tonico Tinoco's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 59thth minute, Fernando Llorian skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Rigoberto Horado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramon Wanchope in the 60th minute of play. Fernando Llorian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eriberto Miranda in the 65th minute of the match. La Primera Barra 1968's Daniel Villalba was substituted for Ramon Wanchope. La Primera Barra 1968 made a substitution. Beto Alonzo replaced Israel Cloyo. The throw-in from Santxo Guazo in the 69th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Inter Miami CF's Eli Nutil. Rigoberto Horado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beto Alonzo in the 74th minute of play. Jan-Simon Bal made in the 76th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Inter Miami CF's Eli Nutil. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eriberto Miranda in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernando Llorian saved La Primera Barra 1968 from getting behind. In the 83rdth minute of the game Daniel Villalba who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Inter Miami CF's Rigoberto Horado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. La Primera Barra 1968's Beto Alonzo got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 92 minutes into the match, Inter Miami CF's goal looked a bit too open when Beto Alonzo came free, but Rigoberto Horado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rigoberto Horado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beto Alonzo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
