Washington Papa was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Indiana Jones in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Belchior Saldanha saved La Gallardeta from getting behind. La Gallardeta's Belchior Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Indiana Jones in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute Club El Progreso were awarded a corner. Diego Portela went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Bonifacio Txindoki managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 18th minute Indiana Jones shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Belchior Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute, La Gallardeta's Clemente Anaya dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. La Gallardeta were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Club El Progreso's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vintilă Guriță took the corner. In the 32nd minute La Gallardeta were awarded a corner. Vintilă Guriță went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on La Gallardeta's corner Vintilă Guriță fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Benjamin Tino quite easily take care of the ball. 35 minutes into the game, Jan-Olof Eliasson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Benjamin Tino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Indiana Jones in the 37th minute of play forced La Gallardeta's goalkeeper Belchior Saldanha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Indiana Jones in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Belchior Saldanha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Indiana Jones in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Belchior Saldanha saved La Gallardeta from getting behind. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Indiana Jones to make the kick off. In the 54th match minute, Club El Progreso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ioan Cândea to maneuver through the defense. 55 minutes into the match, Club El Progreso's goal looked a bit too open when Vintilă Guriță came free, but Benjamin Tino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adolfo Fidensio kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Benjamin Tino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Anaya in the 58th minute of play. Club El Progreso's attentive Diego Portela managed to snatch the ball when Eduardo Izel made a throw-in in the 59th minute of the game. Club El Progreso's Benjamin Tino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemente Anaya in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st minute La Gallardeta were awarded a corner. Vintilă Guriță went to the cornerflag to take it. A sloppy throw-in by Eduardo Izel in the 66th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Club El Progreso's Diego Portela. Belchior Saldanha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Indiana Jones, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Club El Progreso's Washington Papa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Belchior Saldanha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Club El Progreso's Stephan Testaferrata Bonici was substituted for Pajo Pajot. The crowd rose to their feet as Club El Progreso's Indiana Jones slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Belchior Saldanha. That made the score 2-2 after 76 minutes of play. Benjamin Tino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfred Vrede, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Indiana Jones blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Belchior Saldanha having to make a save. With a little luck, La Gallardeta's Belchior Saldanha got control of the ball when Indiana Jones tried to sneak it across the goal line. Club El Progreso's Benjamin Tino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemente Anaya in the 87th minute of play. In the 88th match minute, Club El Progreso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolfo Fidensio to maneuver through the defense. Benjamin Tino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfred Vrede in the 89th minute of play. Belchior Saldanha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Indiana Jones in the 91st minute. 93 minutes into the match, Wilfred Vrede notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Club El Progreso's Benjamin Tino. Benjamin Tino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Many of Club El Progreso's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Club El Progreso may have spent more time on the ball, but La Gallardeta were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
