Matias Gelmiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benjamin Tino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Matias Gelmiro ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Gelmiro in the 3rd minute of play forced Club El Progreso's goalkeeper Benjamin Tino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herminio Gizon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Indiana Jones, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Matias Gelmiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. ALIDIM FOR EVER's supporters rose to their feet, but Matias Gelmiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benjamin Tino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Herminio Gizon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pajo Pajot in the 17th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Pajo Pajot kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Herminio Gizon. That made the score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. If Fernando Pinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benjamin Tino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Pinto in the 24th minute of play. Benjamin Tino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matias Gelmiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fernando Pinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Tino having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Gelmiro in the 42nd minute of play forced Club El Progreso's goalkeeper Benjamin Tino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute, Krzysztof Walczyk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 43 minutes into the match, ALIDIM FOR EVER's goal looked a bit too open when Indiana Jones came free, but Herminio Gizon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Matias Gelmiro notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Club El Progreso's Benjamin Tino. Benjamin Tino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Matias Gelmiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Matias Gelmiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benjamin Tino having to make a save. With a little luck, Club El Progreso's Benjamin Tino got control of the ball when Matias Gelmiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, ALIDIM FOR EVER's goal looked a bit too open when Cleto Cordaro came free, but Herminio Gizon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benjamin Tino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matias Gelmiro in the 64th minute. ALIDIM FOR EVER's Arnulfo Sugoi was substituted for Bernardo Firmo. Benjamin Tino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cemalettin Garipoğlu in the 70th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomasz Gniewek in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. Club El Progreso's Benjamin Tino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Pinto in the 78th minute of play. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club El Progreso's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cemalettin Garipoğlu was slow to take the kick. During this time ALIDIM FOR EVER's players had a chance to rest. After 82 played minutes Club El Progreso got a freekick which was hit by Ioan Cândea. Benjamin Tino made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Ramon Pueblo sent off a good shot on target. ALIDIM FOR EVER's Herminio Gizon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Indiana Jones in the 89th minute of play. If Tomasz Gniewek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
