The shot was a little too simple and Sebastian Piglowski could save by the left post. Tacheros de Buenos Aires's Fortunato De Laurentiis got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 98 minutes into the match, Tacheros de Buenos Aires's goal looked a bit too open when Alonzo Austin came free, but Gregorio Lehior reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Tacheros de Buenos Aires eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
