A well-hit corner resulted in Rodrigo Mendebal heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Marcial Roldanillo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Uwe Septinius when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Carlos Quentin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abel Aureo's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Pincha FC were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Los Liquisue FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sergio Macerio took the corner. Carlos Quentin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Federico Insúa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute Guillermo Maureo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Quentin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Los Liquisue FC's goalkeeper Uwe Septinius had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcial Roldanillo. Pincha FC's Carlos Quentin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillermo Maureo in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grigoris Berzovitis in the 38th minute of play forced Pincha FC's goalkeeper Carlos Quentin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Pincha FC booed when Los Liquisue FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Vincente didn't get a good kick on the ball. Uwe Septinius made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Marcial Roldanillo sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcial Roldanillo made a kick off. Marcial Roldanillo scored 2-0 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Uwe Septinius, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Carlos Quentin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grigoris Berzovitis in the 58th minute of the match. After taking down the ball on Los Liquisue FC's corner Paolo Xabat fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Carlos Quentin quite easily take care of the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Los Liquisue FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pincha FC.
