In the 27th minute Marco Löhr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorato Primo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cai Yi Guo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pastor Frantzes having to interfere. With a little luck, Isótopos V.M.'s Pastor Frantzes got control of the ball when Celedonio Florinio tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Isótopos V.M. booed when C. A. Adestiempo Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pablo Ubarna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Pastor Frantzes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo Montrelle, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd play minute Albeiro Usuriaga came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Honorato Primo. 0-2. In the 89th minute Celedonio Florinio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pastor Frantzes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, C. A. Adestiempo Juniors's Arnaldo Montrelle sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pastor Frantzes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Albeiro Usuriaga scored 0-3 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Honorato Primo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Isótopos V.M. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
