The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Teobald Korytkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pastor Frantzes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isótopos V.M.'s Pastor Frantzes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobald Korytkowski in the 3rd minute of play. Albeiro Usuriaga didn't have the luck on his side when he, from a short distance, got a opportunity for a shot on goal in the 6th minute. The shot missed the goal on the right side and Albeiro Usuriaga ran dejectedly back to his position. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sportivo Ben Hur's goalkeeper Montrell Harrell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Hagi in the 15th minute of play forced Isótopos V.M.'s goalkeeper Pastor Frantzes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teobald Korytkowski took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pastor Frantzes. Pastor Frantzes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. If Primitivo Chaime had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 37 minutes into the match, Isótopos V.M.'s goal looked a bit too open when Primitivo Chaime came free, but Pastor Frantzes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Taribo West received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Montrell Harrell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Montrell Harrell was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Albeiro Usuriaga showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 43 minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Sportivo Ben Hur's Daniel Constancio was substituted for Teobald Korytkowski. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albeiro Usuriaga in the 53rd minute of play forced Sportivo Ben Hur's goalkeeper Montrell Harrell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gualterio Mede kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Ben Hur's Anselmo Lluis got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sportivo Ben Hur's goalkeeper Montrell Harrell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 74 minutes into the match, Albeiro Usuriaga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Montrell Harrell. Sportivo Ben Hur's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Albeiro Usuriaga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Isótopos V.M. made a substitution. Marco Löhr replaced Gualterio Mede. Isótopos V.M.'s Petru Bâru was substituted for Saverio Lalla. In the 80thth minute of the game Jorge Hagi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Isótopos V.M.'s Pastor Frantzes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jorge Hagi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Pastor Frantzes firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Marco Löhr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Primitivo Chaime recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 89 played minutes Isótopos V.M. got a freekick which was hit by Gustaw Jaraczeski. Montrell Harrell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Löhr, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. 95 minutes into the match, Sportivo Ben Hur's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Löhr came free, but Montrell Harrell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Sportivo Ben Hur's Jorge Hagi in the 98th minute got a chance for a shot 98th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Isótopos V.M.'s goalie prevented a goal.
