Anastasio Janpier came out and tried to block the shot, but Ciriaco Urdaspal slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 40th minute. Anastasio Janpier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximino Cabezon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 45 minutes, Anastasio Janpier successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Marlin FC's Ismael Iglesias was substituted for Marcelino Baumer. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maximino Cabezon made a kick off. After having played for 57 minutes, Maximino Cabezon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ACF Fiorentina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximino Cabezon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yin Yang scored 2-3 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Claudinei Velloso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 96 minutes into the match, Marlin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Godofredo Suarez came free, but Anastasio Janpier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marlin FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
