Gunnar Hake ran over to the corner to take the kick. Teɱperłey Cɨŧy's Gunnar Hake was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Luizinho de Queirós in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. John Ryberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Luizinho de Queirós made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domenico Tellini in the 22nd minute of play forced Teɱperłey Cɨŧy's goalkeeper Erhan İren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Teɱperłey Cɨŧy booed when All Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amanda Månsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teɱperłey Cɨŧy's Erhan İren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domenico Tellini in the 25th minute of play. After a rather tough play, All Boys's Amanda Månsson got a free kick in the 25th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when John Ryberg got free with Luizinho de Queirós in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Teɱperłey Cɨŧy's Hermano Póvoas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luizinho de Queirós. That made the score 1-0 after 31 minutes of play. Domenico Tellini's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erhan İren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. After some careless play in the Teɱperłey Cɨŧy defense, Apolo Esiquio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erhan İren. The Teɱperłey Cɨŧy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erhan İren should have stopped the shot. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pablo Solchaga was the one to do the kick off. Erhan İren made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Pablo Solchaga sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers John Ryberg in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luizinho de Queirós saved All Boys from getting behind. All Boys's Luizinho de Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gunnar Hake in the 58th minute of play. Luizinho de Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ubaldo Afonso in the 60th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Domenico Tellini in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erhan İren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 66 played minutes All Boys got a freekick which was hit by Apolo Esiquio. In the 67th minute, Apolo Esiquio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A sloppy throw-in by Nestor Fabbri in the 75th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Teɱperłey Cɨŧy's Hermano Póvoas. 81 minutes into the match, All Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Raymond came free, but Luizinho de Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erhan İren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Apolo Esiquio, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute.
