Tadeo Udalaitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermínio Veríssimo in the 5th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Ⱨ₳₵ɆĐØⱤ ĐɆ ØⱤØ₴'s Tadeo Udalaitz threw himself towards the right post 10 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hermínio Veríssimo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ⱨ₳₵ɆĐØⱤ ĐɆ ØⱤØ₴ were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after Machine Gun Kelly's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sun Wei took the corner. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hermínio Veríssimo got free with Tadeo Udalaitz in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Machine Gun Kelly's Tadeo Udalaitz got control of the ball when Hermínio Veríssimo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 15th minute Aristides Boniel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hao Chen Hao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ⱨ₳₵ɆĐØⱤ ĐɆ ØⱤØ₴'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lázaro Ugaitz was slow to take the kick. During this time Machine Gun Kelly's players had a chance to rest. Tadeo Udalaitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ovidio Furman, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Hao Chen Hao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Boniel in the 27th minute of play. Ⱨ₳₵ɆĐØⱤ ĐɆ ØⱤØ₴'s Hao Chen Hao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristides Boniel in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Lizer in the 36th minute of play forced Ⱨ₳₵ɆĐØⱤ ĐɆ ØⱤØ₴'s goalkeeper Hao Chen Hao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute, Epifanio Lartaun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute Epifanio Lartaun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hao Chen Hao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the game, Tony Parker cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Hao Chen Hao was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Machine Gun Kelly were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Hao Chen Hao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Erramun in the 59th minute of the match. Machine Gun Kelly's Sebastian Kismi was substituted for Tony Parker. Ⱨ₳₵ɆĐØⱤ ĐɆ ØⱤØ₴ made a substitution. Isidoro Beltran replaced Hermínio Veríssimo. Ⱨ₳₵ɆĐØⱤ ĐɆ ØⱤØ₴'s Gökhun Kakaronis was substituted for Sun Wei. Ⱨ₳₵ɆĐØⱤ ĐɆ ØⱤØ₴ made a substitution. Augusto Pasqual replaced Ovidio Furman. Machine Gun Kelly's Dalmacio Osasun managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jasper Rader in the 62 minute of the game. Tadeo Udalaitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Pasqual, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes into the match, Ⱨ₳₵ɆĐØⱤ ĐɆ ØⱤØ₴'s goalkeeper Hao Chen Hao had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Conrado Erramun. In the 73rd minute, Rolando Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 75 minutes into the game, Machine Gun Kelly's Conrado Erramun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hao Chen Hao made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Ⱨ₳₵ɆĐØⱤ ĐɆ ØⱤØ₴'s Hao Chen Hao proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Ⱨ₳₵ɆĐØⱤ ĐɆ ØⱤØ₴ from getting a goal against them.
