An unexpectedly hard shot by Stacy Doll in the 9th minute of play forced CAM Football Club's goalkeeper Florencio Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aerolineas Argentinas FC's Julián Valla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Aerolineas Argentinas FC from getting a goal against them. In the 16th minute Lázaro Ledesma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florencio Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When CAM Football Club's Teofilo Kelemen, in the 20th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for CAM Football Club. Wilfredo Gelmiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of CAM Football Club booed when Aerolineas Argentinas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean-Claude Fröhlich didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute of the match, Teofilo Kelemen tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julián Valla saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Julián Valla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Kelemen in the 41st minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Teofilo Kelemen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julián Valla. Aerolineas Argentinas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teofilo Kelemen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 47th match minute, Aerolineas Argentinas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by François Savreux to maneuver through the defense. CAM Football Club made a substitution. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arnaldo Idacio to make the kick off. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind CAM Football Club's goalkeeper Florencio Cruz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to CAM Football Club getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Wilfredo Gelmiro hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Aerolineas Argentinas FC's François Savreux got a free kick in the 63rd minute. CAM Football Club's Simon Izel was substituted for Arnaldo Idacio. Aerolineas Argentinas FC's Julián Valla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Izel in the 65th minute of play. Simon Izel might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julián Valla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Simon Izel ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Izel in the 75th minute of play forced Aerolineas Argentinas FC's goalkeeper Julián Valla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julián Valla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Izel in the 77th minute of play. Simon Izel kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 91st minute of the match CAM Football Club got a corner. Aerolineas Argentinas FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Angelo Isusko ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led CAM Football Club's Angelo Isusko to fire away a dangerous shot which Julián Valla despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a little luck, CAM Football Club's Florencio Cruz got control of the ball when Marcos Loi tried to sneak it across the goal line.
