Hermengildo Tuste's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guido Quintin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. But to his dismay, Diego Armando Messi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 28th minute Alfredo Ireno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Selatse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to • El Croacia fobal club • getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Aristides Jerardo hit a great ball. In the 41st minute Deportivo Tachito were awarded a corner. Belmiro Arruda went to the cornerflag to take it. Deportivo Tachito's Belmiro Arruda was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Guido Quintin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfredo Ireno to make the kick off. • El Croacia fobal club •'s Aureliano Flor was substituted for Fabio-Roman Cafuta. Deportivo Tachito's supporters rose to their feet, but Hermengildo Tuste was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guido Quintin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Guido Quintin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fazil Gøl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Deportivo Tachito's Claudiu Niculescu in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Elias Selatse breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 93rd minute, Fabio Hustaz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guido Quintin was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the • El Croacia fobal club • players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Deportivo Tachito.
