The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cristoforo Di Ruscio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 2nd minute of the match, but Fabian Burowski made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Di Yang Bing's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ni Le Zheng was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. The supporters of AC Batán booed when Barrilete Cósmico FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eustaquio Quinteros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ni Le Zheng came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Barrilete Cósmico FC's 范升扬. But to his dismay, 范升扬 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 范升扬 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Ni Le Zheng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabian Burowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Acácio Nogueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ni Le Zheng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 范升扬 in the 31st minute of play. In the 43rd minute of the match, Cristoforo Di Ruscio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fabian Burowski was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of Barrilete Cósmico FC booed when AC Batán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norberto Brun didn't get a good kick on the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Acácio Nogueira made a kick off. Cristoforo Di Ruscio hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 范升扬 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Ni Le Zheng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute, 范升扬 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ni Le Zheng was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Acácio Nogueira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabian Burowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Fabiano Ornelas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. AC Batán's Benjamin Koldo was substituted for Sun Yuan Zheng. When AC Batán's Acácio Nogueira in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Barrilete Cósmico FC's goalie prevented a goal. Narciso Gaitano made in the 90th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Fabiano Ornelas. After 94 played minutes Barrilete Cósmico FC got a freekick which was hit by Nestor Eguntsenti. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Barrilete Cósmico FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
