Saverio Fidele made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Leobardo in the 9th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Flavio Leobardo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BloodHounds F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Flavio Leobardo might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Saverio Fidele. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. During this time BloodHounds F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. 40 minutes into the game, Chelco FC's Julian Silviano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Astor Ruy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 43rd match minute, BloodHounds F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Telmo Nascimento to maneuver through the defense.
