In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Tribuna Tambien Juega's goalkeeper Long Sen Jing, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 20 played minutes La Tribuna Tambien Juega got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Tercero. In the 23rd minute, one of La Tribuna Tambien Juega:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for La Tribuna Tambien Juega. The referee gave Aves Negras a penalty, 24 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Enrique Perico, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of La Tribuna Tambien Juega's Long Sen Jing. 0-1. Long Sen Jing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Urtsin in the 27th minute of the match. Albino Silbestre who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Marcial Bakar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Albino Silbestre could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Marcial Bakar made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guter Tobia in the 36th minute of play forced La Tribuna Tambien Juega's goalkeeper Long Sen Jing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Aves Negras's Aaron Gallagher was substituted for Giovani Lo Celso. Aves Negras's Clarence Seedorf was substituted for Humberto Urtsin. Marcial Bakar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joe Sulser in the 55th minute of play. The supporters of Aves Negras booed when La Tribuna Tambien Juega was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Ospin didn't get a good kick on the ball. La Tribuna Tambien Juega made a substitution. Placido Enetz replaced Albino Silbestre. Aves Negras's Efrain Artal was substituted for Guter Tobia. In the 77th minute, Efrain Artal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aves Negras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Efrain Artal kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Long Sen Jing. That made the score 1-4 in the 83 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Efrain Artal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aves Negras's supporters rose to their feet, but Efrain Artal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Long Sen Jing breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Efrain Artal came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Aves Negras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Efrain Artal couldn't finish the play. La Tribuna Tambien Juega's Long Sen Jing proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save La Tribuna Tambien Juega from getting a goal against them. Long Sen Jing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efrain Artal in the 93rd minute of play. The Aves Negras supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Aves Negras would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
