TORQUE F.C.'s Elpidio Bilintx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guter Tobia in the 8th minute of play. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by Aves Negras's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pastor Bernad was slow to take the kick. During this time TORQUE F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. Pastor Bernad made a great header on TORQUE F.C.'s corner, it was just that Aves Negras's Marcial Bakar managed to reach the ball for a save. 13 minutes into the match, Aves Negras's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Ieltxu came free, but Marcial Bakar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute, Baltasar Atarratze got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elpidio Bilintx made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guter Tobia in the 36th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ermegildo Errolan during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 43 minutes into the match, Aves Negras's goal looked a bit too open when Dave Mancinelli came free, but Marcial Bakar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Aves Negras's Clarence Seedorf was substituted for Humberto Urtsin. The wind increased when Guter Tobia made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Guter Tobia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Bilintx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcial Bakar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dominik Klawki in the 55th minute of play. Marcial Bakar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dave Mancinelli's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. After a rather tough play, Aves Negras's Cezar Ciorogaru got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Pastor Bernad could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Marcial Bakar made a huge save. TORQUE F.C.'s Dave Mancinelli got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 78th minute, Efrain Artal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elpidio Bilintx was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. TORQUE F.C.'s Igor Abancens was substituted for Dominik Klawki. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind TORQUE F.C.'s goalkeeper Elpidio Bilintx, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marcial Bakar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Ieltxu in the 88th minute of play. In the 93rd minute, TORQUE F.C.'s Cristian Ieltxu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marcial Bakar. Marcial Bakar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
