In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Materos FC's goalkeeper Lazaros Kabantais, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aaron Molina scored 2-0 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Camilo Salvidor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Horacio Abajas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Materos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Horacio Abajas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Camilo Salvidor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Camilo Salvidor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Horacio Abajas's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Filomeno Mendebal made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Pilarski in the 58th minute of play forced Los Materos FC's goalkeeper Lazaros Kabantais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mayer Candelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lazaros Kabantais having to interfere. Los Materos FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Menchu FC for a fine match.
