Fulgencio Eyague took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Concetto Trasatti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de América's Luciano Sidoro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fulgencio Eyague narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
