The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jelenko Jelanić showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. FC vukovi sa bikare's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sonta OFK the free kick. After 40 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC vukovi sa bikare! Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Momčilo Malinović was the one to do the kick off. Milijan Poznić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sonta OFK's Milijan Poznić got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nenad Rakić took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vlada Jovićević. Vlada Jovićević dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Milivoje Stevanović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jelenko Jelanić having to interfere. After 79 minutes, Jugoslav Nestorovski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC vukovi sa bikare and the Sonta OFK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jugoslav Nestorovski kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, Sonta OFK's goal looked a bit too open when Nenad Rakić came free, but Vlada Jovićević reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jelenko Jelanić made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Milijan Poznić sent off a good shot on target. Jugomir Dragaćevac kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Sonta OFK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
