The audience was convinced that Milorad Marković's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodoljub Jelenić was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Vukadin Lekić's late challenge caught a Kulpin OFK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Srđan Beljić couldn't finish the play. Milorad Marković fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodoljub Jelenić having to interfere. Rodoljub Jelenić didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Kulpin OFK's Milorad Marković shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Rodoljub Jelenić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milorad Marković in the 89th minute of play. Mirko Ivanišević kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match.
