Stevica Tomanić started the match with the kick off. Stevica Tomanić recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FK Zarkovo Beograd's Dragomir Mirosavljević played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ljuba Bilibajkič in the 7th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dušan Komljenović during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vlade Moravčić in the 15th minute of play forced FK Zarkovo Beograd's goalkeeper Dragomir Mirosavljević to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Velimir Mihajlović kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Nova Varoš OFK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 21st minute. Penalty! Velimir Mihajlović walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. 29 minutes into the match, Bojan Tujković had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dragomir Mirosavljević. FK Zarkovo Beograd's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bojan Tujković was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 34th minute Bojan Tujković shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dragomir Mirosavljević saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ljuba Bilibajkič struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Dragomir Mirosavljević didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nova Varoš OFK. If Bojan Tujković had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the match, FK Zarkovo Beograd's goal looked a bit too open when Ljuba Bilibajkič came free, but Dragomir Mirosavljević reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ljuba Bilibajkič came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Nova Varoš OFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ljuba Bilibajkič couldn't finish the play. 47 minutes into the game, Bojan Tujković was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nova Varoš OFK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FK Zarkovo Beograd the free kick. The FK Zarkovo Beograd players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Nova Varoš OFK were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ljuba Bilibajkič made a kick off. Dragomir Mirosavljević made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ljuba Bilibajkič in the 53rd minute of play. Dušan Komljenović hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Nikola Šuput fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dragomir Mirosavljević having to interfere. FK Zarkovo Beograd's Dragomir Mirosavljević played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miodrag Momić in the 61st minute of play. Ljuba Bilibajkič succeeded in the game's 68th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. Ljuba Bilibajkič fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dragomir Mirosavljević having to interfere. Dragomir Mirosavljević made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Bojan Tujković sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, FK Zarkovo Beograd's Ljuba Kendić got a free kick in the 77th minute. Velimir Bajalica recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, FK Zarkovo Beograd's Dragomir Mirosavljević got control of the ball when Bojan Tujković tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ljuba Bilibajkič during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ljuba Bilibajkič kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. The Nova Varoš OFK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Nova Varoš OFK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
