The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Žarko Radonjić's late challenge caught a Srpska Crnja OFK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Žarko Radonjić helped the player get up and apologised. After 8 played minutes Žarkovo got a freekick which was hit by Žarko Radonjić. In the 9th minute Mateja Bečanović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vidosav Brajušković saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joksim Sotirović got free with Julijan Perović in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Joksim Sotirović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jelenko Makajev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 22 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Žarkovo! Mihajlo Todorović charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mihajlo Todorović the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Srpska Crnja OFK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 27th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 29 minutes, Žarkovo's Đorđe Gaković got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Julijan Perović. After having played for 39 minutes, Velizar Postin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Srpska Crnja OFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Velizar Postin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vidosav Brajušković took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mateja Bečanović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Žarkovo's Vidosav Brajušković played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateja Bečanović in the 45th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Mateja Bečanović made the kick off in the second half. Velizar Postin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Vidosav Brajušković tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julijan Perović made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jelenko Makajev in the 56th minute of play. Joksim Sotirović struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Julijan Perović didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Žarkovo. Dragomir Milosević hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Srpska Crnja OFK's goalkeeper Julijan Perović, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 67 minutes into the match, Žarkovo's goalkeeper Vidosav Brajušković had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Velizar Postin. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Velizar Postin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Srpska Crnja OFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Velizar Postin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vidosav Brajušković breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jelenko Makajev hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute, Srpska Crnja OFK's Mateja Bečanović ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vidosav Brajušković. Vidosav Brajušković yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. When Milija Ivanišević fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Srpska Crnja OFK's protests and gave Milija Ivanišević a yellow card for diving instead. The Žarkovo supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Srpska Crnja OFK's performance. The match ended with a win for Srpska Crnja OFK.
