Božo Joković took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Ömür Asutay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Višeslav Simeunović fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lasičnjak SV's protests and gave Višeslav Simeunović a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Lasičnjak SV getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Višeslav Simeunović hit a great ball. If Ignjatije Tutorić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelo Mirande didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stanko Marinović went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 26 minutes into the game, Janko Mitrašinović was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lasičnjak SV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atlético Beograd the free kick. In the 26th minute, Janko Mitrašinović hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ahmet Ömür Asutay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th minute, Ahmet Ömür Asutay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 39th minute of the game. One of Lasičnjak SV:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Atlético Beograd:s goal. The referee gave Atlético Beograd a penalty, 41 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jevta Mijac, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Lasičnjak SV's Angelo Mirande. 1-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ahmet Ömür Asutay to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Atlético Beograd defense, Ahmet Ömür Asutay kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Božo Joković. The Atlético Beograd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Božo Joković should have stopped the shot. Božo Joković came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Lasičnjak SV's Ahmet Ömür Asutay. But to his dismay, Ahmet Ömür Asutay quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. Ahmet Ömür Asutay scored 4-3 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Božo Joković, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 71st minute Ahmet Ömür Asutay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Božo Joković saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 73 minutes, Jevta Mijac mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atlético Beograd and the Lasičnjak SV players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Lasičnjak SV booed when Atlético Beograd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jevta Mijac didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zoran Stoisavljević recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Atlético Beograd getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Bojan Šorgić hit a great ball. Prodan Dujaković kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Svetolik Đinović hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. When Zoran Stoisavljević came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Lasičnjak SV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zoran Stoisavljević couldn't finish the play. Prodan Dujaković struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Angelo Mirande didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético Beograd. Stanko Marinović could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Angelo Mirande made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanko Marinović in the 87th minute of play forced Lasičnjak SV's goalkeeper Angelo Mirande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ahmet Ömür Asutay in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Božo Joković prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Angelo Mirande made an important save on a dangerous shot by Prodan Dujaković in the 92nd minute. If Prodan Dujaković had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Lasičnjak SV fans cheered their team off the field, for while Atlético Beograd had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
