Igor Jašić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marko Medojević in the 36th minute of the match. In the 37th minute Marko Medojević shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Jašić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Ranđel Raičković hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marko Medojević to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jugomir Zafirovski in the 56th minute of play forced Bačko Gradište's goalkeeper Igor Jašić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dane Doroslovac's late challenge caught a FK Debili's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dane Doroslovac helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Bačko Gradište's Dane Doroslovac got a free kick in the 59th minute. Mirko Dujaković made a great header on Bačko Gradište's corner, it was just that FK Debili's Velimir Kalajdžić managed to reach the ball for a save. Mirko Dujaković recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Mirko Dujaković came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Bačko Gradište fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mirko Dujaković couldn't finish the play. In the 84th match minute, Bačko Gradište was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ljupče Miličković to maneuver through the defense. Igor Jašić stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ranđel Raičković's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. In the 94th match minute, Bačko Gradište was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miodrag Jagodić to maneuver through the defense. FK Debili's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
