In the 11th minute Accalon Canning shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ysgawyn Gardner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute Selyf Gilroy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ysgawyn Gardner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Heilyn Cox kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Selyf Gilroy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ysgawyn Gardner read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Ysgawyn Gardner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Accalon Canning, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Ysgawyn Gardner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Selyf Gilroy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Selyf Gilroy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Ysgawyn Gardner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, UWA Maesteg's goalkeeper Edmyg Rush had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Caddoc Flesher. After 42 minutes of play, UWA Maesteg's Selyf Gilroy made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ysgawyn Gardner was left in no man's land by his defense there! The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Greidyawl Holcombe made the kick off in the second half. Ysgawyn Gardner stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Accalon Canning's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Greidyawl Holcombe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Edmyg Rush tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teithi Snob kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Edmyg Rush showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Greidyawl Holcombe in the 81st minute of the match. Selyf Gilroy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 97th minute Greidyawl Holcombe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmyg Rush saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
