An unexpectedly hard shot by Amerawdwr Case in the 21st minute of play forced Swansea FC's goalkeeper Berwyn Farrier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ol Bellew took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedr Connolly, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 34 minutes, Pelles Barrington managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Swansea FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pelles Barrington was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedr Connolly in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ol Bellew saved UWA Cardigan from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Llwydeu Bellew got free with Berwyn Farrier in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pelles Barrington sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amerawdwr Case stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes, Dywel Letson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Swansea FC and the UWA Cardigan players grew even worse after the yellow card. Amerawdwr Case received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Berwyn Farrier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pelles Barrington sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
