Cyryl Karwowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sayer Bruce in the 11th minute of the match. When Siam Kidder fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mid Wales Ultras's protests and gave Siam Kidder a yellow card for diving instead. UWA Bridgend's Cadfael Elias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save UWA Bridgend from getting a goal against them.
