The tension between the Llangollen FC and the Swansea players grew even worse after the yellow card. Iddawg Dineen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gwyneira Cain in the 9th minute of play. Ector Foote fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Llyr Harvey having to interfere. When Ector Foote came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Llangollen FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ector Foote couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Llangollen FC booed when Swansea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gwyneira Cain didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Swansea's zone, Ector Foote stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Llyr Harvey came out of the goal and Ector Foote tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Gusg Factor came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Swansea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gusg Factor couldn't finish the play. Llangollen FC's Maelgwn Haymonger got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 32 minutes into the match, Ector Foote had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Llyr Harvey. Swansea's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ector Foote was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Maelgwn Haymonger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Llyr Harvey having to interfere. After 41 played minutes Llangollen FC got a freekick which was hit by Gobrwy Sawbones.

With his leg Llyr Harvey managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Llangollen FC's Ector Foote fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 70th minute Maelgwn Haymonger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Llyr Harvey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maelgwn Haymonger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Maelgwn Haymonger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Llyr Harvey having to interfere. Swansea's Llyr Harvey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Swansea from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gusg Factor in the 81st minute of play forced Llangollen FC's goalkeeper Iddawg Dineen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Llangollen FC's zone, Gusg Factor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iddawg Dineen came out of the goal and Gusg Factor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 86 minutes into the game, Anfri Bailey was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Llangollen FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Swansea the free kick. Swansea's Madoc Birdwell couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 87th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Llangollen FC. 90 minutes into the match, Llangollen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gwyneira Cain came free, but Iddawg Dineen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Glew Mintmaster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94thth minute of the game Gusg Factor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Llangollen FC's Iddawg Dineen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Gusg Factor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iddawg Dineen was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. The Swansea supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Llangollen FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Llangollen FC.
