After 21 played minutes Swansea got a freekick which was hit by Odgar Arendell. Cadfan Foody sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Presteigne's Lloyd Dunn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nerthach Cranston in the 40th minute of play. Cadfan Foody might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tomos Folds. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cadfan Foody ran back to his position shaking his head.
