After having played for 7 minutes, Iau Keene managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. An unexpected shot in the 9th minute by Drudwas Feeny got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Irvin Giddy during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Irvin Giddy hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Drudwas Feeny could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Tomos Folds made a huge save. 20 minutes into the match, Avaon Ordinary had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Robat Aykroyd. UWA Swansea's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Avaon Ordinary was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Tomos Folds made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hywel Cranston in the 23rd minute of play. Avaon Ordinary received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Robat Aykroyd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th match minute, UWA Swansea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Drew Heanaghan to maneuver through the defense. 29 minutes into the game, Weyland Shrieve was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Swansea's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UWA Swansea the free kick. 31 minutes into the match, Irvin Giddy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Robat Aykroyd. Tomos Folds showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iau Keene, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Avaon Ordinary sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Avaon Ordinary's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Robat Aykroyd read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nerthach Cranston to make the kick off. Drudwas Feeny might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tomos Folds. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Drudwas Feeny ran back to his position shaking his head. If Iau Keene had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84thth minute of the game Iau Keene who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Swansea's Tomos Folds was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Swansea's zone, Iau Keene stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomos Folds came out of the goal and Iau Keene tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
