Iago Fabian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aurlan's Iago Fabian got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Iago Rigger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Brad Gately made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iago Rigger in the 13th minute of play. UWA Penarth's Brad Gately played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iago Rigger in the 16th minute of play. Aurlan's Aneirin Atkins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rhett Gee in the 20th minute of play. Iago Rigger struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Brad Gately didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aurlan. UWA Penarth's Brad Gately played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iago Fabian in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Iago Rigger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sior Christian's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brad Gately read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Aurlan's Kenyon Cohen got a free kick in the 46th minute.

Iago Rigger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sior Christian hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Brad Gately made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Iago Rigger sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sel Faherty in the 64th minute of play forced Aurlan's goalkeeper Aneirin Atkins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aurlan's Iago Rigger got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Iago Rigger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iago Fabian did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-1 to the left of a surprised Brad Gately 74 minutes into the match. Aurlan's Iago Fabian was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 81st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 92nd minute of the match Kevyn Jarman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Brad Gately showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Aneirin Atkins came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by UWA Penarth's Rhett Gee. But to his dismay, Rhett Gee quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The UWA Penarth fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Aurlan were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
