Spectators: 6776 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1776, VIP seats: 0) Swansea's Gwyneira Cain started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as Rhett Gee kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Llyr Harvey. That made the score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. Sel Faherty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Glew Mintmaster received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Brad Gately tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Rhett Gee managed to get in a good position for a shot. UWA Penarth's supporters rose to their feet, but Rhett Gee was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Llyr Harvey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 25th minute, Weyland Workman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gusg Factor scored 1-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Brad Gately, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 37 minutes into the match, Swansea's Gusg Factor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Brad Gately narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Swansea's Llyr Harvey got control of the ball when Sel Faherty tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Glew Mintmaster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Brad Gately showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gusg Factor in the 49th minute of the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Llyr Harvey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sel Faherty, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 55th match minute, UWA Penarth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rhett Gee to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Swansea defense, Rhett Gee kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Llyr Harvey. The Swansea fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Llyr Harvey should have stopped the shot. Rhett Gee received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Llyr Harvey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Gwyneira Cain came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Swansea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gwyneira Cain couldn't finish the play. 80 minutes into the match, Rhett Gee had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Llyr Harvey. Swansea's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rhett Gee was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. The supporters of Swansea booed when UWA Penarth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maxen Boham didn't get a good kick on the ball. When UWA Penarth's Rhett Gee in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Swansea's goalie prevented a goal. After 88 played minutes Swansea got a freekick which was hit by Maelwys Gorman. 89 minutes into the match, Swansea's goal looked a bit too open when Sel Faherty came free, but Llyr Harvey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Swansea getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Madoc Birdwell hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, UWA Penarth's Dywel Gooch tried to score from far away in the 96th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Swansea's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
