Spectators: 6777 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1777, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Iau Keene got the match started through his kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Presteigne's Pellyn Kevin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Robat Aykroyd. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. Robat Aykroyd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Braen Ackerman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cadfan Foody recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Presteigne's goalkeeper Lloyd Dunn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lloyd Dunn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iau Keene, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Iau Keene might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lloyd Dunn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Iau Keene ran back to his position shaking his head. Vaddon Lamont hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. When Iau Keene came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the UWA Swansea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iau Keene couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Presteigne getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Pellyn Kevin hit a great ball. UWA Swansea's Drudwas Feeny got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Digon Bradshaw sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Drudwas Feeny might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lloyd Dunn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Drudwas Feeny ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 35th minute, Iau Keene left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UWA Swansea fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. If Digon Bradshaw had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The wind increased when Digon Bradshaw made the kick off in the second half. Presteigne's Lloyd Dunn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Presteigne from getting a goal against them. Robat Aykroyd didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vaddon Lamont went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hywel Cranston during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 63rd minute, Hywel Cranston hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iau Keene in the 70th minute of play forced Presteigne's goalkeeper Lloyd Dunn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Iau Keene had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lloyd Dunn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Drudwas Feeny in the 75th minute. Iau Keene charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iau Keene the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Presteigne booed when UWA Swansea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iau Keene didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lloyd Dunn stood somewhat misplaced when Drudwas Feeny came free in front of goal and shot 2-2 to the left of him in the 82 minute. Cadfan Foody might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Robat Aykroyd. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Presteigne were awarded a corner in the 96th minute after UWA Swansea's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dylan Cribban took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of UWA Swansea's goalie and right to Lot Leech. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. UWA Swansea's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
