Spectators: 6774 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Digon Bradshaw got the match started through his kick off. The Llangollen FC fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when Llangollen FC's Maelgwn Haymonger looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 8th minute, Digon Bradshaw got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cadfan Foody received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Iddawg Dineen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Cadfan Foody got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Llangollen FC's Maelgwn Haymonger got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Llyr Cullin's late challenge caught a Presteigne's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Llyr Cullin helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Presteigne booed when Llangollen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Llyr Cullin didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Digon Bradshaw in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iddawg Dineen saved Llangollen FC from getting behind. With a little luck, Llangollen FC's Iddawg Dineen got control of the ball when Cadfan Foody tried to sneak it across the goal line. Maelgwn Haymonger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Lloyd Dunn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Ector Foote's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lloyd Dunn was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. After the first half Llangollen FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maelgwn Haymonger to make the kick off. When Presteigne's Cadfan Foody in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Llangollen FC's goalie prevented a goal. Digon Bradshaw fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iddawg Dineen having to interfere. Cadfan Foody received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Iddawg Dineen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Digon Bradshaw in the 57th minute of play forced Llangollen FC's goalkeeper Iddawg Dineen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Presteigne's Cadfan Foody got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Digon Bradshaw received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Iddawg Dineen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Cadfan Foody ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iddawg Dineen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a rather tough play, Presteigne's Pellyn Kevin got a free kick in the 70th minute. Iddawg Dineen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cadfan Foody in the 77th minute of play. Pellyn Kevin hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After having played for 86 minutes, Digon Bradshaw managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Presteigne's supporters crossed their fingers, but Digon Bradshaw was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cadfan Foody might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iddawg Dineen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cadfan Foody ran back to his position shaking his head. Cadfan Foody fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iddawg Dineen having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Anfri Bailey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ector Foote could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Lloyd Dunn made a huge save. The Llangollen FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Presteigne from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
