The tension between the UWA Penarth and the Llangollen FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 8th match minute, UWA Penarth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nissyen Faircloth to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes into the game, Maelgwn Haymonger lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Brad Gately. UWA Penarth's Brad Gately played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maelgwn Haymonger in the 15th minute of play. When Ector Foote came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Llangollen FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ector Foote couldn't finish the play. 20 minutes into the match, UWA Penarth's goal looked a bit too open when Maelgwn Haymonger came free, but Brad Gately reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 23 played minutes Llangollen FC got a freekick which was hit by Anfri Bailey. After a rather tough play, Llangollen FC's Anfri Bailey got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 28th minute, Sel Faherty left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UWA Penarth fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Iddawg Dineen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sel Faherty, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rhett Gee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iddawg Dineen having to interfere. Sel Faherty struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Iddawg Dineen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UWA Penarth. Rhett Gee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maxen Boham struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Iddawg Dineen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UWA Penarth. Sel Faherty took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iddawg Dineen. Iddawg Dineen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2.

The wind increased when Maelgwn Haymonger made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Llangollen FC defense, Sel Faherty kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iddawg Dineen. The Llangollen FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iddawg Dineen should have stopped the shot. Sel Faherty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iddawg Dineen having to interfere. If Rhett Gee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. UWA Penarth's Brad Gately played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ector Foote in the 65th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Maxen Boham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anfri Bailey hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Iddawg Dineen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rhett Gee in the 77th minute of play. Rhett Gee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 93 minutes, Sel Faherty managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UWA Penarth's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sel Faherty was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rhett Gee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iddawg Dineen having to interfere.
