Tomos Folds was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Anfri Bailey showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 38 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Swansea's Odgar Arendell got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Llangollen FC's Iddawg Dineen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nerthach Cranston in the 46th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maelgwn Haymonger to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Swansea's zone, Ector Foote stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomos Folds came out of the goal and Ector Foote tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 55th minute Ector Foote shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomos Folds saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maelgwn Haymonger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 73rdth minute of the game Nerthach Cranston who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Llangollen FC's Iddawg Dineen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Llangollen FC's Maelgwn Haymonger got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 81st match minute, Swansea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Irvin Giddy to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maelgwn Haymonger in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomos Folds saved Swansea from getting behind. Maelgwn Haymonger scored 2-1 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tomos Folds, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Ector Foote had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Llangollen FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Swansea for a fine match.
