Maelwys Kemple made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Govan Feltner sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Mabsant Floyd's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ysberin Hanley was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. 9 minutes into the match, UWA Prestatyn's goalkeeper Maelwys Kemple had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Govan Feltner. After a rather tough play, Treorchy's Yale Coppinger got a free kick in the 12th minute. 13 minutes into the match, UWA Prestatyn's Pwyll Bonds broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Penn Boren in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maelwys Kemple prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Taliesin Wagoner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ysberin Hanley having to interfere. Taliesin Wagoner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Ysberin Hanley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maelwys Kemple took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Penn Boren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Govan Feltner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maelwys Kemple having to interfere. Ysberin Hanley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taliesin Wagoner in the 37th minute of play. After a rather tough play, UWA Prestatyn's Gowerr Cranston got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 41st minute, Emrys Crosby sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and UWA Prestatyn's Maelwys Kemple didn't even have to move. Gowerr Cranston charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gowerr Cranston the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to UWA Prestatyn getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Gowerr Cranston hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Maelwys Kemple showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Govan Feltner in the 56th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the game, Penn Boren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Maelwys Kemple was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. UWA Prestatyn's Mabsant Floyd came free and shot a quick shot against goal 62 minutes in the game, fortunately Ysberin Hanley had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Pwyll Bonds took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ysberin Hanley. Treorchy's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Maelwys Kemple made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Govan Feltner in the 67th minute of play. Penn Boren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maelwys Kemple read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Ysberin Hanley stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Taliesin Wagoner's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. The attack was good, but when Penn Boren in the 82nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. UWA Prestatyn's Mabsant Floyd got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Govan Feltner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to UWA Prestatyn getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Gowerr Cranston hit a great ball. Maelwys Kemple showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Govan Feltner, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. UWA Prestatyn's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
